Though this letter is somewhat overdue, I am pleased to send my sentiments at this time.

First, I'd like to thank you for being the only firm I was able to find that would help me with a DIY radiant heat system installation I was left with when abandoned by my previous installer, at very reasonable time-and-material rates. I might also add that you were willing to work with materials not even purchased through your company.

Your installation expert/manager made and continues to make himself available for any questions or unforeseen problems I encounter. Though I am not able to recall the name of the primary technician at this time, I commend him for his professionalism and his personality as he installed said radiant system in my antebellum home. I have had virtually no leakage problems to speak of, given the magnitude and lineal footage of the project in question, and have been able to close up my ceilings with the utmost confidence.

I have had many interactions with my/your local technician who lives here in Toano, even before he was employed with you. I have found him to be one of the best in the business and without a doubt, an asset to your company. I have also found your advance fuel purchase program to be quite fair and much to my advantage during the winter months. It has made the difference in my opting for LP Gas heating.

Finally, I would like to thank you personally for visiting my property when I had concerns about the tank installation. I can't remember the last time the owner of a company visited me personally to address my concerns. It is refreshing to find a locally owned and operated energy company that is so attentive to an individual customer's needs. Everyone with your firm that I have dealt with has been nothing but professional, helpful, and personable. If I were to switch careers and enter the energy business, yours is a firm to which I would first apply. If only all businesses were run this way.

Thanks for your help with our installation of a Rinnai tank-less hot water heater. It was a pleasure doing business with you. Your work was excellent and the staff was great.

Recently, you provided us with a large propane tank primarily to service our generator but also to provide service for the current and future propane needs of the house. At the same time, you re-routed propane supply lines, emptied our oil tank, and moved our oil tank. Each and every person we worked with represented Phillips well.

Thank you so much for sending two very knowledgeable and experience technicians out to my home to change my LP tank out. They were very well mannered and personable. I was very pleased to see that they stayed with me at the house until they repaired a leak they had found during their test on the system. On Friday the 13th, I woke up and had cold air blowing in the house instead of heat, which is why we met in the first place. I was down to my last dollar and needed fuel in my tank badly. You had someone there for me that afternoon with fuel. That shows that you really care about the people in your community and that's what I miss. My wife and I are from a small town like Mayberry and people care about each other and do what they can to help. I can tell just from talking with you that you are family oriented, take care of your own, and will go the extra mile to make people feel welcome and not just another number.

I wanted to say thanks to you and your staff for solving my cooktop and hot water problems. I now have hot water and plenty of it. I have to turn down the temperature and the volume. It was an up-hill battle before you guys came on the job.

I especially want to acknowledge your service team for not only fixing the problem but also the manner in which they did the job. Your guys explained everything to me. This is a huge change from the people who looked at the system previously. When the job was done, your guys were on their hands and knees wiping up the floor.
